This is the inner brewing infuser chamber (gongfu tea valve cartridge) used in gravity-dispensing, button-release teapots and mugs.

Design & Structure
  • Upper Section: A clear, cylindrical plastic reservoir designed to hold hot water and loose tea leaves during the steeping process.
  • Base Mechanism: A raised central spindle surrounded by a conical fine-mesh stainless steel filter designed to catch small tea fragments while allowing liquid to pass.
  • Dispensing System: Features small clear stabilizing legs on the bottom rim, which suspend the water-release mechanism. When a button on the lid is pressed, it pushes down a rod that opens the bottom silicone seal, draining the clear brewed tea instantly out of the bottom while keeping the wet leaves trapped inside.
